SGN-STEEL Kft., founded in 2000 and currently employing nearly 80 people, is located in the heart of Hungary, at its location in Abony, 80 km from Budapest on the M4 highway. Right from the start – in addition to employing people and creating jobs – our goal was to manufacture and trade pipe flanges for the energy and chemical industries. Our experience in the market encouraged us to focus on individual sizes and special material qualities in addition to standard-sized flanges. Over the years, it has also been proven that, in addition to accurate, high-quality work, the market share can be increased if we offer our partners a shorter than usual delivery time.
Continuous investment and development increased the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s operation. Computer-controlled CNC cutting and machining machines, as well as the incorporation of processing options such as CNC flame and plasma cutting, profile rolling and shot blasting into the production made SGN-STEEL Kft. the market leader in Hungary. With our long-term supplier relationships, the surface treatment of manufactured products – galvanic and hot-dip galvanizing, powder coating, etc. – can also be provided according to the needs of our customers. In order to serve our partners quickly and accurately, we have significantly increased our delivery capacity, therefor we deliver the finished products to our customers with our own truck.
Parallel to the successful results in Hungary, decided entry into the European market. Successfully meeting the challenges of the Austrian, German, Slovak and Czech markets resulted in further expansion of the company. In addition to flanges of different standards and types, the portfolio now also includes the production of other products, such as Tubesheets, device flanges, and various manholes, bearing housings and bushings, as well as heavy machinery components.
Continuous compliance with the requirements of the ÉMI-TÜV SÜD seal certificate, ÉMI-TÜV ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, DNV and Lloyd’s certificates, as well as the introduction of a modern company management system guarantee the conformity of the products we manufacture.
